No. Offdays features automatic, domain-based onboarding. You simply log in using your corporate Google Workspace account. The system instantly detects your organization's domain, provisions a secure isolated environment, and logs you in.
Approved leaves are automatically synchronized. Offdays uses a Google Service Account to create or update events in a shared company-wide "Absence Calendar" and updates personal calendars. The synchronized events also contain clear indicators for half-days (e.g., Morning or Afternoon).
Offdays handles year boundaries automatically. If a leave request starts in December and ends in January, the system automatically splits it into two separate requests at the year-end boundary (December 31st). This ensures your remaining leave entitlements are accounted for correctly in each calendar year.
Yes. When submitting a request, you can enable half-days for the start date, the end date, or both. The system automatically recalculates the total leave duration and deducts 0.5 days per half-day from the business days count.
When you submit a leave request, it is routed to your designated supervisor. Your supervisor receives an automated email notification and can approve or reject the request directly. Additionally, organization administrators have full visibility to manage all requests within the domain.
Offdays automatically filters out weekends and public holidays based on each employee's specific country setting (e.g., Czech Republic, Germany, UK). This ensures only actual business days are deducted from their entitlement, allowing you to seamlessly manage international teams with a clear overview of everyone's availability.
While pending requests can be deleted instantly, approved vacations require supervisor confirmation to cancel. You can click "Request Cancellation" in your dashboard to notify your supervisor. Once approved, the system automatically restores the deducted days to your entitlement and removes the Google Calendar events.
